Samantha and Nolan didn't necessarily plan their wedding date for Cinco De Mayo, but when it landed on the 5th day of May, they couldn't help but choose lime green, navy and add a twist of lime. Thanks to Amber Durr Photography http://amberdurrphotography.com/ for the great pictures.
The wedding ceremony and reception were held at the Scoular Ballroom in Omaha. We created an aisle for them using large cylinders filled with limes and green branches.
We created a vase with a special message inscribed on it about loved ones who were not able to be present at the wedding, but lived on in happy memories.
Samantha had seen the
bouquet she wanted from a picture on my website and so we recreated that
bouquet and added just a little more sparkle and grass loops to make it
her own.
Her bridesmaids carried calla lily sheaths. I love this type of bouquet. It is simple and elegant and very easy to carry.
Reception pieces used white callas, variegated leaves, green hydrangea, and dark blue delphinium.
Best Wishes!
What an honor to get to design the wedding flowers for Nichole and Drew. I have known Nichole for a few years through her teaching career and through her younger sister, but I had never really had the opportunity to sit down and visit with her. She is a delight and we had lots of fun meeting over coffee with her mom to go over wedding details. She had chosen the decadent color palette of mocha, chocolate, and ivory. Sahara roses, white peonies, white orchids, and antiqued hydrangea were in her ivory bouquet. To match the rich chocolatey dresses her bridesmaids wore we chose amnesia roses, hydrangea, chocolate cosmos, chocolate lace flower, and creamy garden roses.
Thanks to J and K Photography http://j-kphoto.com/ and
Amanda Fish http://www.amandafishphotography.com/ , Nichole's cousin, for the photographs. They are stunning!
Here are the bouquets. The bride's bouquet is always delivered in a pretty box.
Love the sunbrellas!!
What a sweet moment for Nichole and her mom. Pam's corsage was made on a rhinestone bracelet that coordinated with her jewelry. White orchids, chocolate cosmos, and amnesia roses made up her wrist corsage.
Such joy! Blessings Drew and Nichole!
